InfoMine issued the 15th edition of research «Petroleum Coke Market Research in CIS», providing analysis of the market on results of 2009. The research is the sole study on this theme at marketing service market. «Russian petroleum coke market pattern changed considerably. Reconstruction of Bashneft enterprises (Ufa) allowed them to become leading players at Russian coke market. After modernisation of a delayed coking unit at JSC "Novoil" and launching a delayed coking unit at JSC "Ufaneftekhim" share of Bashneft in total production of green coke in Russia in 2009 has reached 36% (23% in 2008). After reaching complete design capacity of the delayed coking unit at JSC "Ufaneftekhim" Bashneft positions at the market will be strengthened further. However, competitors do not sit on their hands: by 2012, new delayed coking units are to be commissioned in Volgograd (Oil Company Lukoil) and at Komsomolsk Oil Refinery ("Rosneft")».
