This report is the fourth edition of the study of the sodium sulfide and hydrosulfide market in the CIS.
Market monitoring has been conducted since 2001.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the market of sodium sulfide and hydrosulfide in Russia and the CIS countries.
The object of study is sodium sulfide and hydrosulfide.
This work is a desk study. The databases of Rosstat, customs statistics of the Russian Federation, official statistics of railway transportation of the Russian Federation were used as sources of information. The data of the statistics committees of the CIS countries, materials of the industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, websites of manufacturing enterprises and consumers of sodium sulfide and hydrosulfide, as well as the Infomine database were also involved.
Chronological scope of the study: 2001-2022; forecast - 2023-2030

The report consists of 6 parts, contains 164 pages, including 50 tables, 22 figures and 2 appendices.
The first chapter of the report provides information about the existing technologies for the production of sodium sulfide and hydrosulfide and raw materials used in industry. In addition, data on the main suppliers of raw materials, directions and volumes of supplies are given.
The second chapter of the report is devoted to the production of products in the CIS countries in 2001-2022. This section of the report provides data on production volumes in Russia and Uzbekistan. In addition, the quality indicators of the products obtained are given. The current manufacturers of sodium hydrosulfide are described, as well as enterprises that have recently stopped the production of sodium sulfide.
The third chapter of the report provides data on foreign trade operations with sodium sulfide and hydrosulfide in Russia and other CIS countries in 2005-2022.
The fourth chapter provides information on the price level of Russian producers for sodium hydrosulfide in the domestic market. In addition, data on export-import prices for sodium sulfide and sodium hydrosulfide in Russia, and import prices in other CIS countries in 2001-2022 were analyzed.
The fifth chapter of the report examines the consumption of sodium sulfide and sodium hydrosulfide in Russia in 2001-2022. This section presents the balance of production - consumption of these products, the sectoral structure of consumption, the main consumers, as well as the current state and development prospects of the largest consumer enterprises. A brief overview of consumers in other CIS countries is also given.
The sixth chapter of the report provides a forecast for the development of the Russian market of sodium sulfide and sodium hydrosulfide for the period up to 2030.
The appendix contains addresses and contact information of enterprises producing and consuming sodium sulfide and hydrosulfide in the CIS countries.
