This report is currently available in Russian language only. However, we can provide an English version of the report within 3 weeks after receiving a payment.

This report is a study of the market of mineral titanium-containing raw materials in Russia and CIS countries (Kazakhstan and Ukraine). In addition, it provides a brief overview of the state of the global market for this industry segment.

Monitoring has been ongoing since 2007, in some positions since 2000.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the market for titanium-containing raw materials in Russia.

This work is a desk study. As sources of information, we used the data of the Federal State Statistics Service, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, the official statistics of railway transportation of Russian Railways, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Statistics, the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, the UNdata database, the industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, as well as websites of manufacturers.

Chronological framework of the study: 2007-2017; the forecast is up to 2028.

Geography of the study: Russian Federation, Ukraine, Kazakhstan.

The report consists of 9 parts, contains 172 pages, including 39 tables, 40 figures and 2 applications.

The first chapter describes the world market of titanium-containing concentrates (the main manufacturing companies, the world production in 2001-2017). Current trends are described.

The second chapter is devoted to the study of the mineral and raw materials base of titanium-containing raw materials in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. The chapter provides data on reserves, as well as describes the key fields: developed and potential.

In the third chapter of the report, the volumes of extraction of ilmenite and rutile concentrates in Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine in 2007-2017 are considered. All mining companies in these countries are described, as well as projects to develop new fields.

The fourth chapter is devoted to foreign trade operations with ilmenite and rutile concentrates in Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine in 2001-2017. It presents information in the context of the commodity-country and commodity-company-consumer (importer) in the Russian Federation. In addition, the section discusses in detail the Ukrainian exports of both ilmenite and rutile concentrates in 2007-2017 - the dynamics of supplies by countries and producers. The list of foreign buyers of Ukrainian raw materials is presented in the description of enterprises.

The fifth chapter contains an analysis of the consumption of titanium-containing concentrates in Russia in 2007-2017. The dynamics and structure of consumption of this type of raw materials over recent years are analyzed, factors that determine the demand for the products under study are analyzed, and the main consumer industries are considered.

In the sixth chapter of the report, the balance of production-consumption of titanium-containing concentrates in Russia for 2007-2017 is calculated.

The seventh chapter is devoted to the price conjuncture of the market for titanium-containing raw materials in Russia in 2007-2017. This section presents the dynamics of changes in export-import prices for ilmenite and rutile concentrates in recent years.

In the eighth chapter the forecast of production and consumption of titanium-containing concentrates in Russia up to 2028 is considered.

The annexes provide contact information for the main manufacturing enterprises and consumers of titanium-containing concentrates in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

The target audience of the study:

- participants in the market of titanium-containing concentrates and chains of its further consumption (metallic titanium, welding electrodes);

- potential investors.

The proposed study claims to be a reference tool for marketing services and specialists who make managerial decisions on the market of titanium-containing products.
