This report is the first edition of a ready-made study of the market of monochloroacetic acid (MCAA) and its sodium salt (sodium monochloroacetate, Na-MCAA) in Russia and the world.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the Russian market of MCAA/Na-MCAA.
The objects of the study are MCA and its sodium salt - sodium monochloroacetate.
The presented work is a desk study. The sources of information included data from the statistical committees of the EAEU countries (including Rosstat, the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan); international UN databases (UNdata), World Bank, Eurostat; international and European trade data (UN Comtrade, Trade Map); the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (until 2022); railway transportation statistics; SBIS database; annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities; industry and regional press, conference materials, websites of enterprises-producers and consumers of the products under study; scientific and technical literature (elibrary, etc.), the FIPS patent database; the InfoMine database, etc.
A distinctive feature of this study is the presence of a brief description of the world market for MCAA /Na- MCAA, a detailed description of the largest manufacturers and consumers operating in the market for the products under consideration, and an industry consumption forecast.
The chronological framework of the study: 2017-2023; forecast - 2024-2035.
Geography of the study: Russian Federation - comprehensive detailed market analysis; world - general retrospective market analysis.
The review consists of 7 parts, contains 74 pages, including 16 figures, 27 tables and an appendix.
The first chapter of the review provides a brief description of the world market for MCAA/Na-MCAA.
The second chapter provides a brief description of the production technology of MCAA /Na-MCAA. The chapter also considers the raw materials for the production of the chemicals in question and provides information on their largest suppliers.
The third chapter of the review considers the production of the studied products that existed in Russia. Data on the quality requirements for the manufactured products are presented. In addition, projects for the creation of domestic production of MCAA/Na-MCAA are presented.
The fourth chapter analyzes data on foreign trade transactions with the studied products in the Russian Federation for the period 2017-2023.
The fifth chapter is devoted to the prices of the studied products, as well as the analysis of Russian export-import prices.
The sixth chapter of the review considers the consumption of MCAA/Na-MCAA in Russia. This section provides the production-consumption balance, the industry structure of consumption, the main consumers, as well as the current state and development prospects of the main consumption sectors and the largest consumer enterprises.
The seventh chapter presents the forecast for the development of the Russian MCAA/Na-MCAA market for the period up to 2035.
The appendix provides address and contact information for the main enterprises consuming MCAA/Na-MCAA in the Russian Federation.
