Limestone in Russia: Production, Market and Forecast

The report is devoted to research of limestone market in Russia. The report contains 6 Sections, 105 pages, including 34 Tables, 15 Figures and Appendix.
As information sources, data of Federal Service of State Statistics (Rosstat), Federal Customs Service of Russia (FCS), official domestic railage statistics of JSC RZhD (former Ministry of Railways of Russia), data of companies, the sector and regional print press and other mass-media, annual and quarterly repots of companies, web-sites of company-producers of limestone were used.
The first Section of the report is devoted to analysis of limestone reserves in Russia. The Section presents data on quantity of limestone deposits, their geographic location, reserves and degree of development.
The second Section of the report presents requirements, imposed on quality of limestone (imposed by industrial end-uses)
The third Section is devoted to production of limestone in Russia. The report contains official statistics on volumes of limestone mining in the country, data on regional pattern of limestone production and volumes of the production by some producers. The Section contains description of current standing of leading player-producers of Russian limestone market, including available production capacities, volumes of production, range and quality of products, and directions of supplies.
The fourth Section is devoted to consumption of limestone in Russia and contains supply-demand balance of limestone, as well as presents estimate of sectoral (“by end-uses”) and regional pattern of limestone consumption with analysis of effect of seasonality factor on the products supplies; description of basic enterprise-consumers of limestone in Russia in also given here.
The fifth Section is devoted to analysis of price conjuncture of Russian limestone market. The Section presents dynamics of release prices on limestone of main Russian producers in 2009.
The sixth, final Section of the report presents forecast of production of limestone e in Russia up to 2015, as well as forecast of limestone consumption in Russia in 2010-2015, based on forecast of development of limestone end-uses.
The Appendix contains addresses and contact information on leading Russian producers and consumers of limestone.
