This report is the third edition of the Russian market research of mobile diesel electric generating sets.
The market monitoring has been conducted since 2004.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the market of mobile diesel electric generating sets in Russia, both domestic and imported.
The objects of the study are mobile diesel electric generating sets of the power range from 2 kW to 1 MW.
This work is a desk study. As information sources, data of Federal Service of State Statistics (Rosstat), Federal Customs Service (FCS), the data of the customs statistics of the Russian Federation, and base UNdata, sectoral and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of companies, as well as web-sites manufacturers and consumers of mobile diesel electric generating sets.
Chronological scope of the study: 2004-2017; forecast - 2018-2027.
Geography of the study: Russian Federation - comprehensive detailed market analysis; world - general information about the dynamics and characteristics of the market.
The report consists of 7 chapters, contains 117 pages, including 35 figures, 34 tables and 3 annexes.
A distinctive feature of this study is that it presents a detailed analysis of imports of new mobile diesel electric generator sets for a long period of time (2004-2017), and separately for three power groups. This made it possible to identify the main supplier countries, the top 10 foreign brands of mobile diesel electric generating sets and top-10 importers. As imports account for approximately 80% of the filling of the Russian market, this is of fundamental importance in the planning of commercial transactions.
Currently, the market research presented papers in which the authors discuss the short periods of time and summing the volume of imports, which, of course, leads to serious errors in the estimates of consumption of these three different groups of plants.
The "highlight" of the study is the forecast block. In particular, the complete coincidence of our forecast from the second edition of 2014 with the reality of 2015-2017 is presented. Based on the improved methodology, a new forecast for 2018-2025 was made.
The first chapter is devoted to the history of the creation and use of diesel generators in Russia and abroad.
The second chapter of the survey gives general information on mobile power plants, their device, layout, purpose and benefits.
The third chapter introduces the reader to the Russian manufacturers of diesel power plants and their assortment, it gives data on the production of mobile power plants in 2004-2017.
In the fourth chapter of the review is intended to export Russian diesel generators, as well as diesel generators imported into Russia in 2004-2017: producing countries and companies in the power engineering, whose products are represented in the Russian market. The economic aspect of logistics of deliveries of products is described separately, including from 10 leading foreign suppliers.
The fifth chapter of the review is devoted to the analysis of the price situation in the Russian market of mobile electric generating sets as of April 2018.
The sixth chapter estimates the "apparent" internal consumption of diesel generators in Russia. The balance of imports in the consumption of mobile diesel generators in Russia is also considered.
In the seventh, final chapter of the review, a forecast is given for the development of the market of mobile diesel generators in Russia for the period up to 2027.
In the appendix the address book of the enterprises is resulted.
