This report is currently available in Russian language only. However, we can provide an English version of the report within 3 weeks after receiving a payment.
This report is the fourth edition of the study of the market of titanium-containing mineral raw materials in Russia and the CIS countries (Kazakhstan and Ukraine). In addition, it provides brief information on the state of the world market for this industry segment.
Monitoring has been conducted since 2007, for some positions since 2000.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the market for titanium-containing raw materials in Russia.
This work is a desk study. As sources of information, data from Rosstat, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, official statistics of railway transportation of Russian Railways OJSC, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Statistics, the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, data from the UNdata database, industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, as well as manufacturers' websites.
Chronological scope of the study: 2007-2021; forecast - until 2031
Research geography: Russian Federation, Ukraine, Kazakhstan - a comprehensive detailed analysis of the market, the rest of the world - a general retrospective analysis of the markets.
The report consists of 8 parts, contains 177 pages, including 38 tables, 34 figures and 2 appendices.
The first chapter describes the global market for titanium-containing concentrates (main manufacturing companies, world production in 2001-2021). Modern trends are described.
The second chapter is devoted to the study of the mineral resource base of titanium-containing raw materials in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. The chapter provides data on reserves, as well as describes key deposits: developed and potential.
The third chapter of the report examines the production of ilmenite and rutile concentrates in Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine in 2007-2021. All mining companies in these countries are described, as well as projects for the development of new deposits are considered.
The fourth chapter is devoted to foreign trade operations with ilmenite and rutile concentrates in Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine in 2001-2021. It presents information in the context of a product-country and a product-company-consumer (importer) in the Russian Federation. In addition, the section details Ukrainian export deliveries of both ilmenite and rutile concentrates in 2007-2021. – dynamics of deliveries by countries and manufacturers. The list of foreign buyers of Ukrainian raw materials is presented in the description of enterprises.
The fifth chapter analyzes the consumption of titanium-containing concentrates in Russia in 2007-2021. The dynamics and structure of consumption of this type of raw material in recent years are considered, the factors that determine the demand for the studied products are analyzed, and the main consumer industries are considered.
In the sixth chapter of the report, the balance of production and consumption of titanium-containing concentrates in Russia for 2007-2021 is calculated.
The seventh chapter is devoted to the price situation in the market of titanium-containing raw materials in Russia in 2007-2021. This section presents the dynamics of changes in export-import prices for ilmenite and rutile concentrates in recent years.
The eighth chapter considers the forecast for the production and consumption of titanium-containing concentrates in Russia until 2031.
The appendices contain contact information of the main manufacturers and consumers of titanium-containing concentrates in Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.
Target audience of the study:
– participants in the market of titanium-containing concentrates and chains of its further consumption (metal titanium, welding electrodes);
- Potential investors.
The proposed study claims to be a reference tool for marketing services and decision makers working in the market of titanium-containing products.
