This review is the second edition of the study of the yellow phosphorus market in Russia and the CIS/EAEU.
The objective of the study is to analyze the yellow phosphorus market and forecast its development for the period up to 2030/2035.
The object of the study is yellow (white) phosphorus.
The chronological framework of the study is 2010-2024, the forecast is 2015-2030/2035.
The geography of the study: Russia and the CIS/EAEU.
The presented work is a desk study. The following sources of information were used: data from the statistical committees of the EAEU countries (including Rosstat, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan); international UN databases (UNdata), World Bank, Eurostat; international and European trade data (UN Comtrade, Trade Map); the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (up to 2022); railway transportation statistics; SBIS database; foreign specialized companies; annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities; industry and regional press, conference materials, websites of enterprises-producers and consumers of the studied products; scientific and technical literature (elibrary, etc.), the FIPS patent database; the InfoMine database, etc.
The distinctive features of this study are:
- the presence of a brief description of the world market of yellow phosphorus;
- a detailed description of deposits of phosphate raw materials located in the territory of the EAEU countries.
- a detailed description of existing projects for the creation of import-substituting production of yellow phosphorus and its processed products in Russia.
The review consists of 7 chapters, contains 66 pages, 13 tables, 21 figures and an appendix.
The first chapter presents a brief description of the world market of yellow phosphorus.
The second chapter provides data on sources of raw materials and technologies for the production of yellow phosphorus.
The third chapter analyzes the production of the chemical under study in Russia and the EAEU in 2010-2024. It provides statistical data on the production volumes of this product, as well as the characteristics of the main manufacturing enterprises.
In addition, the chapter contains requirements for the quality of the product, its transportation and packaging mode, as well as requirements for transport for the transportation of this chemical.
The fourth chapter of the report is devoted to foreign trade operations with yellow phosphorus in the EAEU countries in 2010-2024. The volumes and main directions of supplies are determined.
The fifth chapter provides statistical data on export-import prices for yellow phosphorus in the period 2010-2024.
The sixth chapter is devoted to the consumption of the product under consideration in Russia and the EAEU in 2010-2024. It provides data on consumption volumes, main areas of application and consumers of the chemical.
The seventh and final chapter presents a forecast for the yellow phosphorus market development for the period up to 2030/2035.
The appendix provides contact information for the largest producers and consumers of yellow phosphorus in the EAEU.
The target audience of the study:
- yellow phosphorus market participants – producers, consumers, traders;
- potential investors.
The proposed study claims to be a reference guide for marketing departments and decision-makers working in the yellow phosphorus markets.
